CAFE WHITTAKERS
Established in 2004, Whittakers is located in the heart of Brentwood High Street, where you can always be sure of a warm, friendly welcome and good quality food made freshly to order. We serve a wide range of dishes all day - from breakfasts to salads we've got you covered!!!!
We cater for vegetarians, vegans and those with an intolerance to gluten - many of our dishes can be made gluten-free upon request.
Most of our menu is available to take away, or for those of you who wish to stay at home we are on Deliveroo.

What we offer
CAFE WHITTAKERS English Breakfast
We offer a range of freshly cooked breakfasts, or you can, of course create your own if none of them tickles your fancy!!!
We serve a choice of breakfast muffins (sausage, bacon or veggie) served with 2 generously sized, crispy hash browns and a drink.
Our fried bread and home-made bubble and squeak are hugely popular with those of us who like a good, old-fashioned fry up!!!!
Sandwiches
Our sandwiches are made to order in our kitchen using quality fresh ingredients. We offer a wide range of fillings including many vegetarian options on a choice of white, granary or bloomer bread.
Add chips if you're feeling naughty or salad for the angels that walk amongst us!!!
Omelettes
Everyone loves an omelette - we offer a comprehensive choice of fillings, with beans, peas or salad on the side.
Our recently added Spanish omelette is served with halloumi fries and salad and has become an instant favourite!!!
Jacket Potatoes
Cooked freshly in our oven daily, our jacket potatoes are crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. There is a large choice of fillings to choose from and all are served with side salad which includes our home made coleslaw.
Salads
Made with a wide variety of fresh ingredients, there is a salad for everyone, including vegetarians.
Hot Meal
Whether its a burger you fancy, or something lighter like Eggs Royale, we've got your back. Our specials change regularly and often include home made favourites such as Shepherd's Pie or sausage casserole.
Panini / Melts
You can create your own panini from a choice of ingredients and sauces - go wild and see where the mood takes you!!!
Our melts are served on bloomer bread with a choice of delicious toppings and all come smothered in melted cheese with a side salad.
Desserts
We offer a selection of good old-fashioned desserts including spotted dick and sticky toffee pudding, served with custard or ice cream or both if you're feeling indulgent!!! A selection of cakes and biscuits are also available.
Hot/Cold Drinks
We have a vast selection of hot drinks to choose from - whether it's a cappuccino, latte or mocha you desire, you can guarantee it will be made with love and care using Illy coffe - one of the finest exports Italy has to offer.
Our milkshakes are made with ice cream and our smoothies are made with apple juice and fruit and no nasty additives - perfect to cool you down when its hot!!!
